O presidente do Republicanos na Paraíba e deputado federal, Hugo Mota (Republicanos), falou em entrevista ao programa Correio Debate da 98 FM, nesta quarta-feira (5), sobre os planos da legenda para as eleições municipais de 2024. Mota destacou o desejo do partido em ter candidatos a prefeito, vice-prefeito e vereador nas principais cidades do estado.
Durante a entrevista, o parlamentar comemorou as vitórias do partido nas eleições de 2022. “Graças a Deus foi assim em 2022 quando o partido obteve pleno êxito elegendo as maiores bancadas tanto da Assembleia, como também a bancada Federal, obteve êxito no apoio ao candidato ao Senado, Efraim Filho e obteve também êxito apoiando a reeleição do governador João Azevêdo”, disse Mota.
Para as eleições de 2024, o Republicanos busca fortalecer sua presença nas principais cidades da Paraíba, tendo candidatos próprios em municípios como João Pessoa, Campina Grande, Santa Rita, Patos, Bayeux, Cabedelo, Sousa, Cajazeiras, entre outras. “É dessa forma que nós vamos buscar agora em 2024, termos uma grande quantidade de prefeitos, disputando a eleição pela legenda, bem como de vice-prefeito, de candidatos a vereadores. Tudo isso buscando esse fortalecimento do partido”, afirmou o parlamentar.
